I spent a few minutes contrasting the photographs on page A13 of the New York Times this morning depicting former President Trump and President Biden during their visits to the US-Mexican border as each man tries to navigate the problem through a different prism. Almost all Americans want a secure border, however, there are very important considerations as we deal with a refugee crisis. Which man has personal values that may guide our approach best?
